Rayne York is a filmmaker and photographer driven by a love for storytelling. Based in the NYC-metro area, she has over a decade of experience connecting audiences to visual narratives, from the streets of New York City to the spice markets of India. She goes where the stories take her.

The City is a series of vignettes that take place in New York City over the course of a year.
With no intervention from the crew, all moments captured were completely random and unscripted.
An emotive orchestral score guides audiences across the seasons as they traverse the streets of New York for what feels like the very first time.
Although The City takes place in New York, what makes it special is the people. The real moments of beauty that just happen to take place between towering skyscrapers and 21 bridges.
